PanelPlanner (panelplanner.app) is a plywood cutlist and sheet-layout tool run by Siwaak. This page says what the app stores about you, why, and how to have it removed. The short version: your projects stay in your browser unless you sign in, and we never sell your data or show ads.
If you never sign in
Your projects, settings and license key are saved in your browser on your own device (local storage). They are not sent to us. The site makes no requests to our servers on your behalf until you sign in or enter a license key.
If you sign in
Signing in is optional. You can use an email code, Sign in with Google, or Sign in with Apple.
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Your email address | To identify your account. Also used to send the six-digit sign-in code. | Until you ask us to delete your account. |
| A provider account number, if you use Google or Apple | So the same Google or Apple account always opens the same PanelPlanner account, even if you change your email there. | Until you ask us to delete your account. |
| Your saved projects, when cloud sync is on (a Pro feature) | To show the same projects on your other devices. | Until you delete the project or your account. |
A sign-in cookie (pp_session) | To keep you signed in on this device. | 90 days, or until you sign out. |
| A sign-in code (a hash, not the code itself) | To check the code you type. | 10 minutes. |
From Google or Apple we receive only your email address (Apple may give us a private relay address instead, which we treat as your email) and an account number. We do not access your contacts, files, calendar or anything else in those accounts.
Payments
Pro purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the seller of record and collects your payment details. We never see or store your card number. When you enter a license key, it is checked with Lemon Squeezy through our server. See the Lemon Squeezy privacy policy.
Who handles data for us
- Cloudflare hosts the site and the database that holds accounts and synced projects. It also provides privacy-friendly traffic statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics), which do not use cookies or track you across sites.
- Resend delivers the sign-in code emails.
- Google and Apple, only if you choose to sign in with them.
- Lemon Squeezy for payments and license keys.
We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. PanelPlanner contains no advertising.
Your choices
- Sign out any time from the Account window. Your projects stay on the device.
- Delete a project in the app and it is removed from your account as well.
- To delete your account and everything synced to it, or to ask what we hold about you, email us at the address below. We will do it and confirm by reply.
Children
PanelPlanner is a workshop tool for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and say so in the app.
